Refund policy

OUR REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

On receipt of the Products, you must check they match your order. If there is any problem with the Products, or if they are defective or damaged you must notify us as soon as is reasonably possible.

If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time up to the fourteenth (14th) day after receiving the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our refunds policy. Your right to cancel a Contract does not apply to:

  • personalised Products (for example, if you have requested we add names to a product);
  • digital products which are available for immediate download, or which are provided in a physical form such as on CDs or DVDs if the holographic seal and/or shrink-wrap has been unsealed;
  • products which cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons (for example, water bottles and travel mugs unless they are returned sealed and in their original packaging), unless such Product is faulty.

If you return a Product to us because you want to cancel a Contract between us within the fourteen (14) days period referred to in clause 6 above, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days of receiving the notice of cancellation referred to in clause 7 above and the returned Product. Once we have received the returned Product, we will refund to you the price of the Product in full, and any applicable standard delivery charges or an amount equal to those charges if you elect to use a more expensive delivery method. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning any Product to us. In the unlikely event that a Product is returned to us in an unsuitable condition or outside of the fourteen (14) days return policy, we reserve the right not to refund you. If you want these Products returned to you, we may request that you cover the delivery cost.

If you return a Product to us because there is a problem with your order or the Product is faulty, we may offer you a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate in accordance with your consumer rights. Any replacement Product shall be delivered to the original delivery address. We will inspect and test all Products which are returned to us under this clause, if following our inspection and testing process we determine that the Products are not faulty, you will not be eligible for a repair, exchange or refund, in such circumstances if you want the original Product returned to you we may request that you cover the delivery cost.

All Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, including tags. The Products are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure each Product is packaged properly to avoid any damage before being received by us.

We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake. If we can locate the items and you would like these returned to you, we will request that you cover the delivery cost.

Where we issue a refund, we will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

To cancel a Contract, you must either write to us at MOVE IT Customer Services, MOVE IT Shop, PO Box 20195, Watford or send us an email to moveit@upperstreetevents.co.uk. You must also return the Products to us within fourteen (14) days of notifying us that you wish to cancel your Contract, and at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. This means that you must not use the Products except to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect and examine them, to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Products to the extent that would reasonably be allowed in a shop or would not prevent the future sale of such Product to another consumer. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the amount of any refund for loss in value of the Products.

These cancellation terms do not affect your other statutory rights as a consumer.
